Where do you call home?
I call home anywhere that my heart is. I never grew up with stability or a place to really refer to as 'home', which led me on a journey of finding that sense of home within self, so now no matter where I find myself on the planet - I always feel at home.

When did you realize that you wanted to pursue your life in music?
I knew my whole life that I was going to pursue music for as long as I lived! Since I started writing when I was 4 years old, the thought of choosing a different route was quite depressing to me. That didn’t stop me from exploring other options, however, I always found myself back at music. It fulfills me like no other. When i realized that I would rather die / risk my life for music, than not pursue it - I figured it was probably meant to be.

What did you listen to when you were growing up?
Oh gosh, I listened to everyone and everything! I’m really grateful to have been exposed to such a broad and diverse range of music throughout my childhood. I grew up with a teen mom in the 90s, so definitely was jamming to a lot of 90’s R&B / Hip Hop at a ripe age. I also fell in love with musicals, and with Pop music - specifically Shakira, and ran around town singing “underneath your clothes” way too passionately as a 3 year old, haha.

Who is your biggest influence?
As a lyricist, Kendrick Lamar is definitely at the top of my list due to his vulnerability, introspection & blatant honesty within his work. Sonically, I love exploring, but lately have been influenced by early Lana Del Rey, J Cole, The 1975 & Paramore!

In three words, how would you describe your own influence?
Catalytic. Vulnerable. Powerful.

If you were to introduce someone to your music for the first time, which song(s) of yours would you play them?
ghost, neverland, puzzle & drain! all very different genres from one another and created during momentous periods of my life, but they equally remain so authentic to my story from beginning to end that I feel it fully captures me, my heart & my artistry throughout my catalog.

What do you aspire to be through your music?
Through my music I aspire to create a lasting impact and inspiration by taking an honest approach to self through introspection, and exploring the depths of spirituality and my healing journey as I candidly share stories battling all perspectives of shadow & light.

What is a favorite line that you resonate with or choose to live by?
“The poetry is in the streets in full living colour” it brings me back to presence and gratitude for the life I’ve lived, and even when times get dark or I’m facing obstacles internally, it reminds me there’s beauty and color found in everything, and to make the most of what’s in front of me.

Which three celebs would you invite to a dinner party and why?
Kendrick Lamar, we have similar stories/background and he’s a major inspiration to me. Matty Healy - British humor, indigestible arrogance, & genius intellect. Lizzo - must I explain!?

And lastly, what does Eden mean to you?
To me, Eden resonates with divinity, love, authenticity & beauty. All concepts which embrace both the darkness and light.
